So the pyramid scheme which was reported to be a scam has collapsed with a lot of dreams and hopes for many families future. We spoke to a 45 year old Thobile,a single mother from hamanskraal who invested R38 000 on the pyramid scheme and now she's left with nothing but regrets and a headache.  Thobile was in tears when we spoke to her, she told us that her daughter is doing her matric this year and she promised her that she would further her studies.

Thobile is a domestic worker who works at PTA North. 5 years ago her madam introduced her to an ABSA long term saving plan which she gladly joined as she's got a very bright daughter at home so she saw it as an opportunity to start saving up for her tertiary. Early this year one of Thobile's friend introduced her to MMM of which she invested a thousand rand as her start and by the end of that month it had doubled up. This excited Thobile so much that she took all her savings for her child into MMM,little did she know that it was a fresh start for her pain and sleepless night .

Thobile hasn't told her daughter yet as she doesn't want to stress her during her most important year of her life. This eats up Thobile day by day and it makes it worse course she's got no one to talk to about this. I want everyone to becareful when coming yo making quick money online or anyways, it could be the beginning of your worst problems, she said while tears rolled down her pained and stressed cheeks.
